We have just started our building journey with ZAC homes. We have chosen to build with ZAC homes as they have allowed flexibility with the design, resulting in a better usage of the living and bedroom spaces. Other companies had a rigid design which would have resulted in variation fees.
We had been to a few builders and no one wanted to touch our build due to it being in a flood zone. Some builders were even asking for additional extra costings which were not accurate. Being a builder myself, I could see through rubbish they were telling me. Then we went to Zac Homes. They understood exactly what we wanted and were happy to take on the build.
Even though we are only in the Pre-con phase, with this particular build this is the most challenging and Zac Homes have handled it well.
I highly recommend Zac Homes, especially if you are looking at doing custom home that is different to the norm.
We just signed contracts with the ZAC Marsden Park office. The team was just brilliant and a breath of fresh air. Genuine, clear, timely and honest from the onset. No marketing stories. We had made a 5k deposit with another builder before. We actually decided to loose that deposit and moved to ZAC because we loved the team and the ZAC Homes design and approach so much. For us trust and care is huge and the other builder was all promise and sales but there were a few disappointing instances where we felt like we were just a number to that builder.
Then we met the team and we feel like ZAC will do our dream home justice with the singular care it deserves and it will not be just another build to make some money. We loved ZACs California 32 design and worked with them to make it our own and he really gave our project the care we wanted someone to give it.
Zac homes is very professional, and helped me understand the entire building process. The consultation with the colour consultant was a great experience and it was great to have the ability of adding my own suggestions. I was able to slightly modify the kitchen, added data points, tv points, Foxtel points, external floodlights and I added 17 additional Power Points. The post contract variations were well within my estimated budget. Looking forward to the rest of the construction process.
Purchasing a home can be stressful, especially your first home as we are currently doing through ZAC homes. From our initial consultation to where we are now at pre construction, we have been treated fairly and with transparency.
